Ok, so this book is so much fun! I was trying to get a feel for where it was "headed" but I ended up just falling in love with the different personalities. I love the format of the book since it shows different people through different lights. The "gnats" are ugly no matter who you're hearing from, but I like reading about Bernadette from the gnats' point of view, then hearing Bernadette's take on the same situation.
Bernadette definitely seems off her rocker, but she's totally lovable, no? She cracks me up and even though she seems high maintenance and well, crazy, I can't help but want to hang out with her. I also love Bee. The best part of the book so far is the confrontation between Audrey and Bee! Too fun.
Just finished up through the part where Bee tells off Audrey - too good!! Audrey seems like such a nasty, miserable woman. I can't stand her busy-bodyness. She's a bit like Reeva from "When She was Gone", no?
Anyway, I'm really loving it so far. I can tell something bad is about to happen with Bernadette.. she seems to be losing her spirit a bit after that whole mud-slide confrontation thing. Hoping it all works out for Bee's sake!
